I plan to coat AgCl on a Ag wire via electrical coating method. Basically, apply a positive bias on the Ag wire in high concentration KCl solution. After the coating, how do you know you have successfully coated the AgCl on Ag? If I do an electrochemical impedance measurement, will the impedance drops significantly after AgCl coating? Or should I observe some Open Circuit Potential change after Ag is successfully coated with AgCl?
