Thanks Dr. Isam for your insightful answer with nice recommended articles. I would like to know your view or insights on the question that I would like work with only in-vitro experiments not in-vivo at the moment as working with Animals always includes whole lot of ethical issues.

First of all, You have to do viability test using L929 cell line (fibroblasts). Use Trypan Blue or other staining. You can use MTT test, but You have to be carefull if use cyclic compounds, they give false-positive results. The next step is to use any other cell line which is closer to tissues which are intended to contact with this material. If this material will show good biocompatibility, apply primary cells (if possible), and the final step is the tests in vivo where You can observe fibrousus or other capsules or their absent.
