How to characterise an electroplated silver on platinum?

Hi,
I am electroplating silver on platinum electrodes and wanted to use a characterization protocol to confirm the electroplating rate. Does anyone know the best way to characterise silver plated platinum electrodes?
I have tried to perform CV in sulphuric acid but it does not show any characteristic peaks.
