I am in the process of roughening a silver electrode for SERS measurements using the latest version of CH Instruments. Most procedures in the literature mention sweeping the potential from -0.3 V to +0.2 V for three ORC cycles to achieve a roughened silver surface, with an observed color change after the process. I tried this procedure but did not observe any color change, and I am unsure if I am doing it correctly. Could anyone advise me on how to achieve this process using CH Instruments?
