This formula can be used, but there is one problem with that. How you are going to find the internal capacitance of the pz layer.
So I think best way is to find through simulation only

Can the internal capacitance of the PZT/PVDF layer can be checked by looking at the datasheet? If so, then does the above formula hold true?
Also Mariem Saida , is the formula not Ropt = 1/( 2*pi*W*C) ?

If you are using standard piezoelectric plate from the industry then only you can get the values from data sheet. But if are designing new cantilever with some unique dimensions then how can you find the values in data sheets. If you know the value of C then you can find R theoretically.
I think it is best to calculate R and C with simulation.
