I am working with this type of resin for the first time! In litterature, I found these steps:
- Use deionised water to remove salts until neutral pH 7
- The resin washed with ethanol 70% at 25 °C for 12 h, priori to use
- After that, the XAD-16N resin was stored in 70% (v/v) ethanol solution at 4 °C for future use
- The ethanol was removed by two steps of deionized water washing when the resin was used in the adsorption experiments.
I will be grateful if anyone know how to do the wash?
