For standard JCPDS data (λ=1.54Å,2 θ=34.421) value of lattice parameter a is given as a=3.253 Å. But when I am calculating, it's using the a=b= λ/(√3 sinθ) formula and gives 3.0049. Is this formula is correct?
Sir
The equation you mentioned have 2 unknowns a and c. How i will be able to calculate a and c?
1/d2=((4/3)*((h2+hk+k2)/a2))+(l2/c2)
and
2dsin θ=nλ
U can use powderX software to calculate accurate lattice parameter
