How to calculate the gear meshing tooth variation?

I found lots journals talking about gear stiffness variation but I'm not sure how to calculate the gear mesh tooth variation.

You can simulate the mesh with FEM or BEM.

Otherwise some models are available in literature such as Kuang J.H., Yang Y.T., An estimate of mesh stiffness and load sharing ratio of a spur gear pair, Int. POwer Transmissions and Gearing Conference 1992.

The mean value can be determined with the ISO 6336 standard.
