I want to calculate the Peierls-Nabarro stress, the equation τP=[2G/(1-ν)]exp[-2πa/(1-ν)b] is easy to found in many papers.
Now I have the data of generalized stacking fault energy (GSFE, γ) from DFT, and found some papers on the relationship between Peierls-Nabarro stress and GSFE. However, I donnot know which equation to use to calculate the Periels-Nabarro stress.
Is there any direct equation between Peierls-Nabarro stress and GSFE?
