I'm studying the short range order in liquid metals. in a few articles I saw a structure factor (S(q)) and GeoVar( g(r) ) plots of the liquid structure, the plots were constructed from xrd data.

could you point me towards the method / article / book on the matter? I would like to analyse xrd data this by myself.
