Object color changes in different light source. We can use the visible refletent spectrum of object and the relative spectrum power distribution of illuminant to calculate the color.

My question is should we do something to the reflectent spectrum before analysis? Such as normalization?I subtracted baseline of the spectrum before calculation but the color data I got are much higher than that test by X-Rite SP62 spectrophotometer.
