I'm designing a patch antenna with frequency control so i have cut a out a top metallic section of patch antenna and put a diode to connect the parts together. The patch is supposed to work at different frequencies when the diode is conducting and now conducting.
But i don't understand how to provide dc bias to the diode to get it working.
I was hoping to get step wise instruction to get the diode biased.

Deeksha Chauhan, If I understood you in right way - you need to open your diode. You can use a Discrete Port as a Voltage Source than!
Alexander Plotnikov yes, that is exactly my problem. I used Discrete Ports before but its not working when i used that to provide bias in parallel to the diode by using both external wires and directly to the metal patch. That is where i'm stuck. Can you guide me on how to continue with that. There is already a choke in parallel to the diode.

When I encountered such problems before in NI Microwave Office - I have used Sparameters models that usually stood for a kind of a fixed state like OPEN 5mA current; OPEN 10mA current; CLOSED 0V; CLOSED -1V etc

just use the lumped equivalent of the diode within the desired location.
You can download the S-parameter of specific diode from the website, and import these in CST. It will behave same as DC.
