Hello,

The 2D model consists of a hyperelastic matrix tied to an infinitesimal cohesive layer defined by traction separation law along with its damage properties. The other side of the cohesive layer is tied to a carbon fiber. I cannot define a surface based contact for two sides of the cohesive layer since damage is defined for CZM layer. Once I used surface to node based slave layer for the two sides of cohesive layer, it did not work too. Finally, I just defined a contact between the matrix and fiber, but as can be seen in the attached figure there is a penetration of CZM layer to the fiber. Moreover, I have not given a shot to contact based CZM in Abaqus Implicit since I want to make sure if there is a solution for this issue in the Explicit solver.
