I am working in mass propagation of some fungal cultures. However, in most of the time, the fungal broth is contaminated by some bacterial species. So, please suggest how to avoid the bacterial contamination and the most convenient way to confirm that fungal broth are pure.

you can use a Broad-spectrum antibiotic like as fluoriquinolodone or azithromicyne (ppm)
Streptomycin and Chloramphenicol are the commoly used antibiotics in fungal growth media to prevent bacterial growth
we can use the antibiotics like rifamycine, it is effective against both gram -VE and gram +VE bacteria.
I agree with all ,always i use Chloramphenicol ,but after autoclaving
Streptomycin is effective to avoid bacterial contamination for fungal isolaton using PDA
U can add chloramphenicol to fungal media. It inhibits the growth of both g +ve and g-ve bacteria.
