How to assay Bacillus thuringiensis microbial isolates for toxin production?

Our group has been having difficulties finding a consistent mechanism by which to screen Bt isolates for Cry or Cyt toxin production in a quantitative, reasonably high-throughput manner. Does anyone have experience with this or could recommend a relevant publication? Thanks!
