I want to Quantitatively analyze the PQ pool content (PQ and PQH2) via HPLC. For this analysis I need 'STANDARDS' of plastoquinone. but in literature I did not get any clear information about the preparation of standards. can I use Decyleplastoquinone (75%) from Sigma Alderich ? and further this can be converted into oxidized and reduced forms ?

just an idea: If you are able to isolate the compound plastoquinone, you could do qNMR. Please see PDF by Sigma-Aldrich.

I would like to propose possible HPLC method for your analysis.
You have to dissolve known amount of PQ stranded in a mobile phase in which you are going to analyze these compounds. Since PQ and PQH2 are in equilibrium at a given pH, fraction of PQ is converted to PQH and further to PQH2. So that in your chronograph you can see two or three peeks (PQ and PQH or PQ, PQH and PQH2) depending the pH of mobile phase that you have selected for the analysis. Then, you can quantify the each compound using the ratios of peak area (or height) to the total peak area (or height) of three compounds.
But, if you hope to analyze these compounds using this type of method, you have to use isocratic mobile phase program. In addition, you have to optimize the conditions carefully because those may sensitive for the equilibrium.
