Please, How can I apply 2sin(2pi*4*t)+3sin(2*pi*5*t)+7sin(2*pi*7*t) in abaqus. I realized I cannot use periodic amplitude for this due to the fact that the subsequent frequencies are not multiple of the first one. Any help would be apprecated.
First, create a column in excel based on t variable. in the second column write your function " 2sin(2pi*4*t)+3sin(2*pi*5*t)+7sin(2*pi*7*t) ", then copy both of them to tabular amplitude in load module.
It does not matter that the subsequent frequencies are not multiples of the first one. All three frequencies are multiple of the basic frequency. The load is periodic and can be expanded in the Fourier series. Actually, you already have this series. Assuming the system is linear, you get the superposition of the three elementary solutions.
