I have done some crosses between corn and sweet corn. I would like to estimate the carotene components on the obtained plants.
There is an article than could help you: Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology
Volume 2012, Article ID 524019, 10 pages
doi:10.1155/2012/524019 good luck!
Quick screening of maize kernels for provitamin A content
Journal of Food Composition and Analysis 20 (2007) 655–661
I think is article also will help.
Thank you
You can estimate carotene contents through HPLC analysis.....
Estimation of carotene compounds requires much care because they are light sensitive so they should be harvest and dehusk under dark
check this link maybe help you
