Friends, I have doe antioxidant assays DPPH and Total antioxidant activity (TAA) for extracts of marigold germplasm.
After the procedures I have obtained the OD values but now I need to analyze them statistically for publication....so what things I should do and how to do?
Also I am planning for ABTS assay, so can anybody describe a novel procedure for it...either using multi-mode microplate reader or UV-VIS spec..

For TAA you should have a positive control, I mean a standard antioxidant, with which you will compare your samples activity. It is just a value you don't need to do any statistical analysis. Just go with your relative value and mention it with your standard one in paper.
For DPPH, calculate the percent inhibition of the DPPH radical for individual OD and analyze statistically against your control value. For further info see the links below:

I suggest a calibration curve with a standard antioxidant, typically Trolox, for both DPPH and ABTS assays. In literature you can commonly find TAA expressed in mg or mmol of Trolox equivalent per unit of dry mass.
