It would depend on what type of hypothesis you are testing, but the starting point would be some version of the z-test.

Yes/no is your _dependent_ variable.

It is nominal, and has only two levels.

If your _independent_ variable is nominal, you might use Chi-square or related tests.

If you have more than one independent variable or your independent variable is not nominal, you might use logistic regression.
