How to active the phosphorylation of target protein in cell lines?

Dear all,

I want to active the phosphorylation of target protein in cell lines, but I do not want to use agent/drug, because the agent/drug may cause unexpected effects.

How to do this?

Hi,

you can potentially overexpress the kinase (if known) in the cells or generate phosphomimetic mutant of particular residue within your protein (in plasmid).
