A month ago, I stained panc-1 cells with Alexa flour 488 and evaluated my samples for adequate staining. I have kept the samples in an opaque box at 4°C since then. I need to re-evaluate my samples again, but I am concerned that the signal may have deteriorated over time because it has been about a month now. In the interest of time and resources, would it suffice to just proceed with these samples? Or is a new set of samples required?
