Describing plastic material is rather ambiguous, they are known through code numbers shown in the slide hereafter. I noticed that most commercial bottled water is using type 1 plastics for the bottles. Some of the most known worldwide brands are using type 7 plastics, recommended to be avoided ( at all cost, as often described). What is your opinion? How safe plastic category 7 is?
Scientific research have shown that many plastic or sachet water are not save. 1. Consumers don't have access to information about the well where this water was abstracted from I.e. geology, microbial and chemical information.
2. Most plastic water might have out stayed their time on the counter making them to lose their quality. This pose great health challenges to human beings.
The best form of water is groundwater from an unpolluted area.
WHO must rise up to this situation.
With the pesticides, insecticides, chemicals, unused drugs, radioactivity, all kinds of residuals, the unpolluted areas are becoming more and more rare. A true challenge for humans indeed.
