Sandesh Regmi It depends on what you mean by the term 'relevance'. Both Foucault and Bourdieu have contributed to developments in social theories which in turn are used to understand concepts of health, illness, well-being and their treatment and management in medical anthropology.
For sure the Foucault's text "The birth of social medicine", is another one you should read. He explain how medical knowledge started to be applied to the logic of social control through the control of the bodies.
As already I have said, both Foucault and Bourdieu are very relevant for Medical Anthropology. Foucault as the pioneer discoverer of social conditioning on scientific investigation, Bourdieu as a clarifier of philosophy methods and symbolic values
I think that both are relevant above all for the methodological approach with an interesting look at the social and historical
