How precise is CRISPER editing? For example, I want to delete a 252bp DNA, but I strictly do not want the flanking sequences deleted. Experts please give your opinion if possible with references. Thanks in advance..!!
cut the DNA with modified Cas9 with 2 different sgRNA specific for the two ends followed by homology directed repair to replace the cut DNA with a selection marker. (I am not an expert though)

Hi there, whats the difference between GMO food (genetically modified organism) and gene edited (CRISPR) food ? Mutation occurs for both of them? And if a food is produced by CRISPR technique, is it also genetically modified? whats the exact meaning of editing? thank you in advance!
