I would like to know how much RNA concentration do you expect to get from e.g. 100 microliter of human serum-derived exosomes. Of course, the isolation method can influence the number of exosomes and their RNA concentration. I am trying to realize it by using Exo-spin mini column and Exo-cap composite. I use RNeasy mini kit for RNA isolation. I get very low concentration e.g 4-5 nanogram per microliter or sometimes nothing at all!

I have even used phenol-chlorophorm-sodium acetate method but not successfull because I had a giant and hard white pellet and no RNA at the end (I checked it with nanodrop and gel electrophoresis),

Any explanation or suggestion? Thanks in advance.
