It depends on what cuvette you are using.

If you use 1 mm cuvette, it would be 0.1 mg/mL, while it is 0.5 mg/mL for 10 mm cuvette.

The concentration that should be used will depend on several factors such as cell path length, buffer, etc. However, it is necessary that the concentration used produce a total absorbance, in the corresponding UV spectra, of less than 1.0 absorbance units. Generally,

for a 0.01 cm cell, this means a protein concentration between 0.2-0.5 mg/ml. But, the concentration used must always agreed with the absorption in the UV spectrum.
