I'm about to estimate the mean of participants' age in a study. Median and interquartile range are the only measures reported in the study and there is no detailed information about the skewness of data. It was only mentioned that the distribution was not normal. I have no idea how the mean can be extracted from the available data. Any lead would be greatly appreciated.
