Hello all,
I have a question about the use of EPR to study membranes in cells. I would like to conduct research on blastocysts and oocytes, but I am afraid that a large number of them will be needed to obtain an EPR signal. Assuming membrane labeling 5,12 or 16-DSA, how many oocytes / blastocysts will I probably need to get a signal that can be analyzed? Due to the fact that it is a living sample I would prefer to use EPR with a low microwave band, for example L, or is it not necessary ?. In addition, could the use of a loop-gap resonator help in receiving a signal? Thank you in advance for your answer, I have little experience regarding the use of EPR in in vivo studies, but I have never used it for studies on low concentration samples of this type.
