I would like to know, how long will dsRNA for RNAi experiments stay stable (frozen at -20°C). Are there some better condition to store it - not frozen at -20°C but only at 4°C? Does EDTA (low concentration...circa 1 mM) in elution solution impact my samples negatively?

If it is freeze-dried powder, I think it will stable at least 1 year at -20°C. I always keep the powder at -80°C. If it is liquid, you could subpackage it to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and store at -80°C or liquid nitrogen for maybe about 1 year.
When stored in -20, dsRNA is stable for at least 6 months (if dissolved in water) or at least 3 years (if dissolved in 50% formamide). However, the best solution is to store it in -80, then you can keep it for several years.
Thank you Athanasios Dalakouras ofr your recomendation. We disolve dsRNA in pure water with addition of EDTA (final conc. ca 3-3,5 mM), hope it would not be a problem.
