It is known that as cells divide, transfected plasmids are diluted among the cells but is it known how long is the half-life of a plasmid (but not the protein expressed from that plasmid) in mammalian cells?

I am not asking about the cytosolic turnover of a plasmid, but I am asking how long is the half-life of a plasmid in mammalian cells? It seems that a plasmid in cytosol degraded soon but we see expressed proteins for a long time, which means that plasmids are not degraded for a long time in the nucleus.

Many thanks,
