I made the siRNA and Lipofectamine2000 mix and incubated 20 minutes @ room temperature. The problem now is the cells are not healthy to start the transfer.
Anybody please let me know how long i could store the siRNA+transfection reagent mix?

I don't suggest to store the mix, since the protocol says to incubate for 5min and the efficiency is decreasing if you incubate the mix longer. I would recommend to check your cells again and as soon as they are ready, prepare a fresh mix!

Storage time of the siRNA+transfection reagent might vary from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Some protocols suggest 20 min incubation for optimal transfection efficiency. But you always need to optimize the conditions depending upon what cell line you are using. However, longer incubation is not recommended as lipofectamine once diluted eventually decreases its activity. So, I suggest you to use a fresh mix once the cells are ready for transfection.
