I have made several requests this afternoon for full-text articles/Journals. I am a new user to this site and am just curious how long it generally takes to process those requests. Thank you!
It depends on the person you are requesting it from (it goes directly to the author you sent it to, and they have control over whether they share it with you or not). Some people answer their requests quickly, others take weeks, and some don't reply at all.

It takes generally 3-4 months to recieve the full-text article/journal.Manty times on line papers are published more rapidly.
When you request for full-text article, the response by the author of the article will be one of the following three cases:
1) The author has the full text, and he doesn't have a problem to share it with other researchers. In this case, the response can be directly once the author receive your request.
2) The author has the full text, but he doesn't like to share it with other researchers. In this case, he will ignore your request, and he will not provide you a copy of full-text.
3) The author has posted the title of an accepted paper and still wait the full-text to be published. In this case, the response for your request is once the paper becomes available online so the author can easily share it with others.
When you request a full text version from a member of ResearchGate, it may depend on how often the author visits REsearchGate to receive messages.
Some people are her every day. Some are here only a few times a year.
