What are the recent ares in sales and marketing that can be integrated or is being integrated to Supply Chain?
So far we can talk about the channel of Distribution, Order Cycle, CSR; what are the recent ares that are of focus and integration or collaboration

Actually they both are integrated in supply chain already. How can you manage a supply chain without sales and marketing inputs?

Absolutely agreed, but wanted to know which can clearly identifiable rather than in grey lines- like distribution, crm, csr we have lot of buzz in SC with these words being a integral part of sales and marketing, wanted to know which such specific branches are on the rise or importance in SC collaboration

A seamless integration. Supply chain to be the differentiation tool and the competitive advantage for sales.
Strength of SCM to be the negotiation tool. Efficiency of SCM in e commerce.
Last mile connectivity for sales. Automation of sales.
I feel they are part of the overall and no sales is good unless it is backed by an equally efficient SCM. Brands sustain on the strength of smart manufacturing and aftermarket action.

In our fast paced business/marketing environment in order to enhance your supply chain by searching for the latest idea; perhaps we should pause for a moment, look at who we serve again, why or how we make it happen and get close to our repeat customers. Why? Because if we speak to them not at them and we listen to their responses,we might be able to discern what they consider important to them and then you can proceed to research how feasible it is to give it to them ; and thus research the firms(supply chain) that offer the added value.
