While screening the journals and publishing research work, researchers normally focus on publishing at a higher impact factor score-based journals. Now, I am requesting your two cents on this common notion (especially from experienced & novice researchers, and researchers all across the continents).

I would think this is an important consideration for many and more important than that, I would look at which journals my colleagues and I read regularly - that is a good guide to which journals to which I should send manuscripts.
As noted in the conclusion of the below paper, it depends a lot on the types of articles published in that journal.
