I need to prepare multi-standards of different types of asbestos to make calibration curves for x-ray diffraction analysis. In the Annex 1 of DM 6/9/1994, the method for standard preparation is outlined. For this purpose, the use of surfactant type “Aerosol OT” is requested.

I would like to know if is it correct to prepare the “Aerosol OT” by mixing Dioctyl sulfosuccinate sodium salt with a solvent (for example ethanol). How much salt should be dissolved in the solvent?
