Hello

I try to solubilize some rare earth oxides like Yb2O3, Eu2O3, Nd2O3.

I put Yb2O3(0.05g) in hydrochloric acid (12.08mol/L) It forms white solution.

I put Eu2O3(0.026g) in hydrochloric acid (12.08mol/L) it forms limpid solution.

I put Nd2O3 (0.017g) in hydrochloric acid (12.08mol/L) it forms limpid solution.

The volume of hydrochloric acid was 4mL.

Are this oxide solubilized completely or not??

What is the reaction between this oxides and HCL??

Any method to prove the solubilization of this oxides in hydrochloric acid!!

Thanks
