If we considered the chemical structure of PEG and LiCl, polarity of the atoms, electronegativity and the resulting partial and full charges, an electrostatic interaction of the ion-dipole could be exist between the two molecules
although this type of interaction will be strong in polar solvent (like water) where ionization and dissociation of LiCl will be complete (~100%) than in nonpolar solvents (like benzene). DMAc is a polar organic solvent and this type of interaction can take place in DMAc
