Dealloying is the selective corrosion of one or more components of a solid solution alloy. It is also called parting, selective leaching or selective attack. Common dealloying examples are decarburization, decobaltification, denickelification, dezincification, and graphitic corrosion.
Not applicable to all. Due to the amorphous structure of the metallic glass, fine nanoporous structure was obtained after dealloying.
