I am working on a compound development project which requires the addition of atypically high levels of inorganic stabilizers in an aliphatic polyketone resin. Melt processing evaluations of recent compositions suggest that we may have reached a total additive content level at which these additives (variations of typical anti-oxidants) are no longer soluble in the molten polymer. How does one go about determine whether we have reached saturation of these additives in this particular polymer?
