Does the transient structural analyzes the model for every step it was analyzed by the transient thermal or it begins the analysis as the model is at the end of thermal?
You can set time as per your need for transient structural analysis.
Suppose there are 10 steps in the Tr. thermal analysis and 10 steps in Tr. structural analysis. You cans set any step of Thermal for any step of structural. Just click on imported load of temperature in the structural and set the time in table data.
Thank you Nikhil for the kind response. So, based on what you said, the two can analyze the model simultaneously, i.e. for every step that the thermal state of the sample changes in Tr thermal, we can model the mechanical state. Am I right?
I am not getting what you exactly want. Please frame your question/understanding with some more information.
If you change your setup of tr thermal analysis at say step 10 but you called step 9 in structural which you have not changed then there will be no changes. Once you set your time of Tr thermal and if there is change in the that particular step then only mechanical will import thermal temperature from the changed step and that way it changes its output.
I don't know what exactly do you mean by simultaneously. But process is like as above. Change conditions in step of tr. thermal>change in results of Tr. Structural(if the step called is the changed one).
Note:You will get exact response for your question if you provide more information explicitly.
