For every electric device there is a voltage range within it should be runned. Imagine there is a Tesla that runs at a Voltage of 375V and as long as there is enough capacity in its batterypack left to back it up, everything is fine. But as the Batteries get discharged, the Voltage is dropping lower and lower, how is there enough power to drive further? With decreasing voltage and current over discharge time, the maximum power drops and so does maximum of speed one can go?
Of course the batteries can be arranged parallel or in series, but i can´t imagine this can prevent the batterypack to drop below a certain voltage all the time!
