Hello. I was curious what I should do about preprints after they have been peer reviewed and published in a journal... do I delete the preprint, or do you simply change the preprint to an article, and then put the journal details in? I was curious what you, as a community, tend to do.

My personal approach would be to delete my pre-print and make a new entry with the article, I would be very happy to hear what others do, particularly if it is different to me!
Interestingly I discovered a Research Gate feature in which you may tie preprints to articles
When you delete one of the entries, e.g. a preprint, all metrics ("Reads", citations etc.) and potential comments will be lost. As Owen Thornton noted, there is a possibility to link the preprint entry to the publication entry. This is described in the last paragraph of https://explore.researchgate.net/display/support/Preprints. You may look at https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331546436 as an example - note the link after "Published version" below the title and date of this preprint.
