Oil out off microscope can be get rid by using Toluene, Xylene or any compound of that type.

Please try something less aggressive and simple first. It is an oil so just wipe it down with 91% IPA . Follow this with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove any residue. Works fine and less likely to remove all the paint and finish!
