I am planning on performing smFISH of changed antimicrobial peptide genes on lung or cultured cells to visualize where the lung peptides are expressed. I am trying to figure out how to design a probe for FISH, but I am having difficulties finding information. I know there are websites to help design, but how do I know the specifics for each probe that I need?
