Please help me know your ideas and understanding in your areas about how to calculate workload for a University teching staff, regardless of posts (Professors, etc).

- It's easier to calculate contact hours, but how do you estimate the rest:

marking, lecturer preps, exam preps, assignments, research work, consultations with industry, adminisrative work and students' consultations. (Sometimes not sleeping at all).

Is it realistic to attempt to measure university teaching staff workload?
