For making powder dipersions for DLS analysis, the pH of the dispersions has to be adjusted according to the pH at the isoelectric point. How do we know the isoelectric point of the powder dispersion without measuring zeta potential.
There are some theoretical calculations for determination of the isoelectric point of the powder dispersion but these calculations can only be applied when we have only two conponents i.e. the powder and a solvent. If we add a surfactant or dispersing agent the isoelectric point will change. In this case how do we know the isoelectric point for adjusting the pH.
