I have a lot of misconceptions in some people, and in fact I know that change is not especially about thinking that is self-evident ... so I am waiting for your thoughts on this
We can change the negative thinking of others by empirically convincing them of the negative effects of this kind of thinking, which turns into negative behavior that keeps people away from them, and informing them of positive examples of positive thinking through what positive people enjoy from a successful life and beautiful relationships with those who surround them.
Changing a person’s value orientations is very difficult. This is due to overcoming the influence of the environment. If the group with which the person identifies himself is characterized by negative thinking, then the person reproduces the negative values and rules of the group in order to be part of it. This can be overcome only by exclusion from the group.
I think we can not change a person's negative thinking. We can only create ambient, which will influences to some person, that she, all by herself, changes negative thinking.
Recognition that although the world can be an intensely negative place it is possible to overcome this-although students must be made aware that success can take many years to accomplish. Repetitive visualisation helps whereby each night before sleeping the student consciously constructs a dream of receiving certificates or an award, of achieving success.
Positive thinking is only evidence based . In your life all your positive thinking becoming negative result - Luck ! - You cant make any positive councilling .
Generally speaking, our mind is instinctively prone to thinking both happy and negative thoughts. Notably, it is not always possible to fight with negative thinking; however, we can teach ourselves how to control them so that they cannot ruin our peace of mind.
Changing one's own or others' negative thinking requires strategies grouped under the rubric of "Cognitive Restructuring." Given that negative thoughts can breed distruct in people, systems, and in self, it is important to recognize that it is a problem and that a special strategy is needed for even minute changes. The strategies may include stop the negative thinking before they dominate your mind (hit pause button, cool off) and identifying the triggers of negativity and proactively addressing the triggers.
There is someone I know who has negative thoughts I have tried and I am still trying to correct his ideas but to no avail. Sadly, he knows very well that his thoughts are negative but he is determined to do so.
By changing the way they think from a negative to a positive state of mind. This can be done through applying some effective approaches such as the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other behavioral modifications methods (i.e., positive & negative reinforcement, rewards, modeling, etc.). Willingness to change is the key here. It can be enhanced through the help of some models such as the change model.
Negative thinking has a basic trait which in the very basic nature takes a negative response in his problem for which unfortunately he may not remain calm & quite with his problem so that he may not take advantage of peace ,& calmness for his problem.
He should remain either in the care of a loving family or good friends who by treating him in a very friendly manner & calm response by offering proper understanding so that it is likely that he may change his temperament.
Human brain, its thought process and all related psychosomatic responses are very very complex. It is really heard to bring about a desired change in other person at our will. Even we cannot really change our own thinking (positive or negative) at our wish within a short period of time that we expect.
However, to change a negative thinking, creation of a strong positive environment is necessary. When the positivity exceeds negativity the output will definitely be positive.
But again, human brain doesn't always follow this simple mathematics. It is, rather, a slow and l-o-n-g process. There may be temporary failure, but a consistent effort coupled with positive thoughts can produce the magic..........can take us near the intended and coveted door, sooner or latter.
The first thing is to get the person to recognize that he has those negative thoughts and, secondly, to allow us to help him. After this first level, it will be necessary to use a battery of techniques (psychologists know more about this) to help you gradually overcome this situation. Sometimes, as teachers, we find students who have this kind of negative attitude. In some cases (when it comes to mild cases), we can try to help them, using our experience and social skills. In other cases it is not possible and we should try to make these people seek help from specialized professionals.
Unfortunately many people dismiss healthy skepticism and justified cynicism as negative thinking. Positive thinking and optimism can involve self-delusion.
There are two key problems in having a negative thinking: psychological and social. The former is a disease, whereas the latter is a reality. Hence, one should either get a medical help, or work on changing the reality.
Moving from negative thinking to a positive outlook requires a lot of optimism. Not everyone succeeds in the first go. The more you fail, the stronger you are. Seeing success early would easily run you into complacency. Prejudiced approaches are to be avoided. But, to follow these you need mental maturity.
Replacing your overly negative thoughts with more realistic statements can inspire you to take positive action, which is the key to creating the kind of life you want to live.
It is very difficult to change thinking, still it is possible through meditation and strong will and change body language and be flexible, at the time of negative thinking take a pause, think about others and effect on others
