I am seeking to understand the variations in molecular mechanisms between pathogens involved in sepsis/sepsis-induced DIC and SARS-CoV-2. Additionally, I am interested in exploring how these differences contribute to the distinct clinical outcomes observed in individuals affected by these conditions. August 2023 the JAMA solved the problem of treatment in COVID-19. (1) (2).
The glycobiologist Prof. Varki showed 1998:
LMWH does not work, UFH does. (3)
So I think, the most important difference between microbes and virus is:
The virus enters the cell. The microbe attaches the cell, enters sometimes.
But UFH counteracts both, virus and microbe, attachment and entering.
LMWH does not, it is only able to change the venous thrombosis.
LMWH does not act in the arterioles of kidney and lung.
UFH does.
