I have carried out experiments on biomass gasification and calcined the solid residue for four hours. During both the steps (gasification and calcination), gases of CO2, CO, H2 and CH4 are measured. Now I want to calculate the carbon weight ratios for gases, char and liquid products from experimental results, but don’t know the calculation method.

the yield of the pyrolysate products are calculated using the product mass obtained for example the yield of the solid was calucler by the ratio of the initial mass and the mass obtained (remains in the reactor).
the yield of the liquid is calculated by the difference between the mass of the vial with liquid and the empty vial.
this method is valid for pyrolysis, but in the case of gasification, a gas detector with filter must be etulised. in this case one can calculate the molucular and non-mass yield
